In Class 4 we have Year 5 and Year 6.

A note from Miss Smith and Mrs Boardman… 

Welcome back everyone. We have lots planned for this term, with our new topic, the Robinwood residential and preparation for SATs.

School Uniform

Can I please remind parents that trainers are not permitted as part of school   uniform.  Children must wear black school shoes to school.  It is important that  the children are aware of the school rules and regulations and that they follow these to help better prepare them for High School and the strict rules there.

Homework

Reading homework is set on a Thursday and is to be handed in on the following Monday.  If this is not possible then please send a note into school. If a child does not hand in their homework they must stay in school at morning break time to complete it.

Spellings are given out every Friday and are tested the following Friday in class.

PE

PE lessons will continue to take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, delivered by the Lancashire sports partnership. All children must wear school PE kit. The  children should wear full school uniform.

RobinWood residential

The trip takes place  Friday 7th - Sunday 9th March.  Pupils not going on the trip are to come to school as normal where they will be taught by Mrs Baordman.
