We aim to encourage the children to develop an interest in a different language and culture: Broadening their horizons and nurturing an appreciation of difference and diversity. 

French is the main language taught at St John's. However the children also receive a term of German from a specialist high school teacher and an introduction to Latin in upper key stage 2.
