Mrs Statter is our Nursery lead, she has a Cache diploma in childcare and education, a Bsc hons in Educational Psychology, is a qualified level 3 forest school practitioner as well as having a paediatric and outdoor first aid qualification. Mrs Statter has worked at St Johns Primary school and has supported learning for 13 years, she transferred her role to that of nursery lead in January 2021. Mrs Statter has a strong background in tailored interventions and individual learning.  She utilises this knowledge when planning areas and activates so they are not only relevant to the Early Years foundation stage guidance but also to the children in her care.

At Sunbeams we use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for the development and learning of children to guide our planning. Our provision reflects the four overarching principles of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (DfE 2021):
